Tbilisi Dry Port is developed as multimodal inland terminal providing transfer of containers between different modes of transportation – rail and road. It is developed mainly as an extension of Batumi and Poti seaports to the Capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi, away from Georgian coastal borders and will be operating as a center for transshipment of ocean cargo to inland destinations in Caucasus and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.
